A field full of sunflowers. How can this not make most people smile? Look at a field of grass or rocks and you just don't get the same feeling. Sunflowers are one of my favorite subjects to shoot and I can not get enough of them. In this image I just wanted the image to slowly fade into a blur of sunflowers. The first one front in center is tack sharp and gives you and idea of what each one may look like. The field of focus quickly fades into an infinite blur of sunflowers. Doesn't it just make you want to be there, in the middle? At the very least, I hope it made you Happy!

My photography focus is primarily nature and wildlife. I have a strong passion for the outdoors, capturing images that help preserve the numerous public lands and all that they offer. My travels take me all over the western united states to the common and not so common places. Many of my photos concentrate on the National Parks of Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Arches National Parks. Other areas of my travels include Moab Utah, Central Oregon, the Oregon coast and many areas around my home State of Washington. Take your time and enjoy my images.
